Coolmore Tour

Coolmore Stud, based in Fethard, County Tipperary in the Republic of Ireland, is widely acknowledged to be the world’s biggest and most successful thoroughbred racehorse breeding operations. Owned by The Magnier Family and situated in the heart of the Golden Vale on over 7,000 prime acres of Ireland’s finest limestone land, Coolmore provides the perfect environment for breeding and raising thoroughbreds.

Begin your tour at The Fethard Horse Country Experience where you will be immersed in all aspects of Horse Country through our state of the art interactive museum and get a taste of what is to come.

Our guide will then lead you through the hallowed gates of Coolmore, where you will learn about the farm’s incredible history and racing legacy while getting up close and personal with their champion stallions.

Available: Fridays from October to April and Tuesdays from May to September.

Capacity: 10 -20 People depending on season

Price: €60 per person. Includes entrance to Fethard Horse Country Experience and guided tour of Coolmore Stud. Advance booking required to avoid disappointment.

Time: 3 - 4 hours. We suggest starting at the Fethard Horse Country Experience to have just over an hour for the museum. You can then drive to Coolmore, just 5 minutes away to meet our guide.
